Launch: a policy builder, and the product explained by role

New Discount policy builder — a free tool, no signup: set your thresholds, margin floor, and ceiling, see how many quotes each rung would actually route, and take away a written policy you can adopt whether or not you ever use Glime.
New Glime by role — the same product from four seats at the discount conversation: RevOps, sales leaders, the deal desk, and Finance, each naming what Glime does not do for that seat.
New Blog: where should your discount thresholds actually sit? — pick them from your own quote distribution rather than from round numbers.
Improved The homepage, approvals page, and ROI calculator now hand off to each other: estimate the leakage, then set the thresholds that recover it.

Launch positioning: discount governance, front and centre

New Discount approval workflows — a page for the thing Glime is actually best at: the default ladder, what the server refuses (403 self-approval, 409 out-of-order, 422 past the ceiling), and what Finance gets on the other side.
New Comparisons against the tools a governance buyer really shortlists — DealHub, Conga CPQ, Subskribe, and QuoteWerks.
Improved Every comparison page now scores Glime and the alternative on the same eight governance dimensions, and names the cases where the other product is the better buy.
Improved Site-wide copy and structured data re-anchored on "CPQ-native CRM with discount approval governance" rather than "a modern CRM".

A real backend: hosted API, accounts, and multi-user approvals

New Hosted Postgres backend — records outlive the browser, and a workspace is shared by real teammates rather than one tab.
New Real authentication — bcrypt passwords, signed sessions, and server-enforced multi-tenant isolation on every query.
New Multi-user approvals — a rep and their manager act on the same quote. The chain is decided by the server: role-gated, ordered, and closed to self-approval.
New Roles & invites — Admin invites Sales Rep, Sales Manager, Regional Director, and Finance; approval authority follows the role.
Improved Pricing and blended margin are calculated server-side, so the number an approver sees is the number that gets stored.

Configurator v2: bundles, price books, guided selling, a customer portal & more

New Product bundles — sell one part number made of many, with required, optional, and choose-one components; fixed or rolled-up pricing; rules see through bundles automatically.
New Price books — partner, regional, or negotiated price lists layered over the portfolio, partial by design, with CSV round-trip and per-line provenance on every quote.
New Customer quote portal — a revocable link where your customer views the pinned document, toggles the options you marked optional, asks questions in a thread, and accepts with a signature. Views are tracked; margin and cost never leave the building.
New Guided selling — questionnaires that assemble a draft quote from plain answers, validated by your rules like any other quote.
New Canvas view & capacity meters — a visual configuration surface with live compatibility feedback; blocked products dim with the reason before you add them.
New Renewals — one click drafts the renewal from an accepted quote: recurring lines carried forward, uplift applied as a labeled adjustment, one-time lines dropped.
New Insights — rule fire counts, recommendation acceptance, discount pressure against your bands, and the approval funnel.
New Governance — capability splits per workspace, approval delegation with an SLA clock, parallel approval steps, and scheduled price change sets that publish atomically with one-click rollback.
New Assistant drafts — paste a freeform price list or describe a rule in a sentence; the assistant drafts into the standard editors and nothing is saved until you review it.

CPQ revenue controls: approval chains, margin protection & quote lifecycle

New Discount approval workflows — discounts above your self-serve limit route through a Sales Manager → Director → Finance chain before a quote can be finalized. Denials carry a reason back to the rep; every decision is audit-logged.
New Margin protection — per-line and blended margin (internal only, never on the customer document), with a floor warning on thin lines.
New Quote lifecycle — mark finalized quotes accepted (with signer) or rejected (with reason), both immutable; expired quotes are flagged and can't be accepted; clone any quote as a fresh draft to reprice or counter.
New Printable proposals — one click prints just the pinned customer document, ready to save as PDF and send.
Improved Editing a quote that's pending approval resets its chain — approvers only ever sign off on the numbers in front of them.
