Glime CRM vs DealHub

DealHub is a strong quoting layer that sits on top of your CRM. Glime is the CRM, with that layer already inside it.

At a glance

DealHub

Mature CPQ and DealRoom experience — but your system of record stays elsewhere, so quoting and pipeline are still two products to buy, administer, and keep in sync.

Glime CRM

One product. The approval chain runs against the same records as the pipeline, so there is no state to reconcile and nothing to license twice.

Compared on discount governance

Glime's wedge is narrow on purpose: the CRM is built around the quote, and the discount policy is enforced by the server rather than by a spreadsheet and a Slack ping. That is the lens this table uses.

DimensionGlime CRMDealHub
Native CPQ in the CRM The quote is a CRM record. One database, one permission model, no sync job. Full-featured CPQ, but it layers onto your CRM rather than being it.
Discount approval chain Server-enforced and ordered: ≤10% self-serve → Manager ≤20% → Director ≤35% → Finance ≤50%. A rep cannot approve their own quote. Mature, configurable approval workflows — a genuine strength.
Margin floor enforcement Blended margin computed server-side on every reprice; quotes below the floor are flagged before they are sent. Margin and profitability views depend on tier and configuration.
Hard discount ceiling Past the policy ceiling a quote cannot be finalized at all — not by a rep, not by a manager in a hurry. Enforceable through workflow configuration rather than a fixed policy ladder.
Quote version history Automatic v1 → vN on every change. Nothing is ever overwritten. Versioned quotes and DealRooms.
Audit trail Finance trusts Every submit, approve, reject, and finalize is written to a tenant-scoped audit log with actor and timestamp. Activity and approval history are tracked.
Quote → contract → order Contracts and sales orders are native objects generated from the accepted quote. Subscription management exists; the order and contract records live in the underlying CRM or ERP.
Public pricing $19 / $49 / $99 per user/mo, published, with a free trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Quote-based. No public per-seat price.

Pick DealHub if…

Choose DealHub if you are committed to Salesforce or HubSpot as your system of record and want the strongest quoting layer to bolt onto it. That is exactly what DealHub is built for, and it is good at it.

We would rather lose the deal here than in month three. If none of that describes you, the rest of the page is the case for Glime.

What "server-enforced" actually means

  • The ladder is policy, not a workflow you build — ≤10% self-serve, Sales Manager to 20%, Regional Director to 35%, Finance to 50%. Change the thresholds; you don't wire the logic.
  • Ordered and role-gated — step n cannot be decided while n−1 is pending, and a rep approving their own quote is refused by the API, not hidden in the UI.
  • A ceiling that holds — past the policy maximum the quote cannot be finalized at all.
  • Provable afterwards — every submit, approve, reject, and finalize is in a tenant-scoped audit log with actor and timestamp.

Questions teams ask

We already run Salesforce. Is Glime a rip-and-replace?

If Salesforce is working for you, DealHub is the lower-risk choice — it keeps your system of record. Glime is for teams who would rather replace both layers with one, and who value that the approval chain and the pipeline share a database. Our migration guide covers the CSV path if you do switch.

Does Glime have a buyer-facing deal room?

Not yet. Glime generates a branded proposal from the accepted quote with version history behind it; DealHub's DealRoom is a richer buyer experience. If a collaborative buyer portal is the deciding feature, say so early — it is on our roadmap, not in the product today.
