Glime CRM + Sage Intacct Connector in preview
The Sage a growing finance team actually runs — cloud accounting and ERP, not the desktop ledger that shares the name.
What the connector does
- An approved quote lands in Sage Intacct as a Sales order, with its lines and net prices, and the approval that cleared it cited in the note
- A signed contract is sent the same way; one still under negotiation is refused
- Order status and fulfilment come back; a price edited in Sage Intacct is flagged with both values, never silently applied
Who runs Sage Intacct
Finance teams of roughly 50 to 500 people who outgrew a desktop ledger — very often the first real ERP a company buys after QuickBooks.
How the connection works today
Intacct exposes a long-standing Web Services API over XML, with a REST surface rolling out alongside it; which one a given tenant has depends on their edition and release, so confirm before building. If your Sage is Sage 50, Sage 200 or another desktop-line product, the Sage page is the right one — they share a vendor and very little else.
Status: preview, not offered. Glime has a Sage Intacct connector in the product, tested on every change against a simulator of Sage's API, and it is not sold or recommended for a live company file yet: QuickBooks Online is being taken live first. Today the workspace export — every object, on any plan — and the REST API carry the order across; talk to us before connecting this one.
| Sends | approved quotes and signed contracts, landing as a Sales order |
|---|---|
| When | the Send button on an approved quote |
| Brings back | order status and fulfilment, hourly, on demand, or on the vendor's webhook where it sends one |
| Connecting | an Admin pastes companyId, userId, userPassword, senderId, senderPassword |
| On a conflict | the ERP wins on fulfilment, Glime wins on price |
| Run against Sage | Not yet. Tested in CI against a recording client in Sage's API shape, never against a real Sage company |
