Why native matters

CPQ built in, not bolted on

Legacy CRMs treat quoting as an acquisition — a separate product, separate database, separate admin console, separate invoice. Glime's CPQ shares everything with the CRM, which is why it can be this fast. See why teams switch →

The part that pays for itself is the governance: how discount approvals work →

Millisecond pricing

Rules, discounts, and taxes recalculate live as reps configure — under 100 ms.

Approvals that flow

Discount thresholds route to the right approver automatically. No email chains.

Version history

Every quote keeps v1 → vN. Nothing is permanently overwritten — ever.

Guided selling

A short questionnaire asks what the customer needs and builds the quote lines from the answers.

Web-app native

Your reps' CRM is already installed. It's the browser.

Glime is a web app end to end — nothing to download, nothing to update, nothing that only works at a desk. The URL that runs on the laptop at HQ runs on a phone in a customer's parking lot, with the same records and the same pricing rules.

  1. 7:50am · on the train

Open a bookmark, not an app store

Today's pipeline, one tap from the home screen. No install, no MDM profile to wait on, no "update required" before you can see your own deals.

  2. 11:20am · in the lobby

Log the meeting before you forget it

Add the contact you just shook hands with and write the note on the spot. Small screens get stacked field cards and a scrollable object bar — a real mobile layout, not a pinch-to-zoom desktop.

  3. 2:05pm · in the parking lot

Get the discount approved between meetings

You need 22% to close today. Send the quote link; your manager taps it on their phone and approves. The ladder, the margin floor, and the audit entry are identical to the laptop path.

  4. 5:40pm · at the gate

    Send the proposal before boarding

Print the proposal to PDF straight from the quote and hand it to the share sheet. The deal doesn't wait until you're back at a desk on Monday.

Everyone is on the same build

There is no client version to pin. We ship a fix and the next page load has it — the rep in the field and the deal desk at HQ can never be running different pricing logic.

One link, one record, any device

Record URLs are stable. Paste a quote into Slack and it opens the actual quote for whoever taps it — laptop, phone, or tablet — under exactly the permissions that person already had.

The rules don't get thinner on a small screen

Pricing, the approval chain, and the discount ceiling are decided on the server. A phone can't route around a margin floor, because the browser was never the thing enforcing it.

The honest tradeoff: the web app needs a connection. It's a web app, not an offline database — no signal, no CRM. What it never needs is an install, an admin to push it, or a device that's on the right version. If you do want an install — offline quoting, quick capture over whatever app you're in, and a presenter screen that can't leak your margin — there's an optional desktop app for Windows. It's the same product with the same server rules, and nobody has to choose: one person can quote on the desktop and approve from a phone browser.
