Glime CRM + Xero Connector in preview

The accounting system most Glime-sized companies outside North America already run — and the one whose API maps most directly onto a quote.

What the connector does

  • An approved quote lands in Xero as a Quote, with its lines and net prices, and the approval that cleared it cited in the note
  • When your buyer accepts, an invoice is queued in Xero and the payment link it replies with is shown to the buyer
  • A signed contract is sent the same way; one still under negotiation is refused
  • Order status and fulfilment come back; a price edited in Xero is flagged with both values, never silently applied

Who runs Xero

Dominant in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand and growing in the US; typically run by a company with a bookkeeper rather than a finance team.

How the connection works today

The Xero Accounting API (REST, OAuth 2.0) covers Contacts, Items, Quotes, and Invoices, and its webhooks fire on contact and invoice changes. That Quotes endpoint is the reason Xero is the cleanest fit on this page: the CPQ object survives the trip instead of arriving as an invoice.

Status: preview, not offered. Glime has a Xero connector in the product, tested on every change against a simulator of Xero's API, and it is not sold or recommended for a live company file yet: QuickBooks Online is being taken live first. Today the workspace export — every object, on any plan — and the REST API carry the order across; talk to us before connecting this one.
