Glime CRM + SAP Business One Connector in preview
SAP's small-business ERP — a different product from the SAP most people mean, with a far more approachable API.
What the connector does
- An approved quote lands in SAP Business One as a Quotation, with its lines and net prices, and the approval that cleared it cited in the note
- A signed contract is sent the same way; one still under negotiation is refused
- Order status and fulfilment come back; a price edited in SAP Business One is flagged with both values, never silently applied
Who runs SAP Business One
Small subsidiaries and independent companies of roughly 20 to 250 people, usually delivered and maintained by an SAP partner.
How the connection works today
The Service Layer exposes OData v4 over the SAP HANA and SQL Server editions, covering BusinessPartners, Items, Quotations, and Orders. If your SAP is S/4HANA or ECC rather than Business One, the SAP page is the right one — the two share a vendor and almost nothing else.
Status: preview, not offered. Glime has a SAP Business One connector in the product, tested on every change against a simulator of SAP's API, and it is not sold or recommended for a live company file yet: QuickBooks Online is being taken live first. Today the workspace export — every object, on any plan — and the REST API carry the order across; talk to us before connecting this one.
| Sends | approved quotes and signed contracts, landing as a Quotation |
|---|---|
| When | the Send button on an approved quote |
| Brings back | order status and fulfilment, hourly, on demand, or on the vendor's webhook where it sends one |
| Connecting | an Admin pastes url, companyDB, username, password |
| On a conflict | the ERP wins on fulfilment, Glime wins on price |
| Run against SAP | Not yet. Tested in CI against a recording client in SAP's API shape, never against a real SAP company |
