Glime CRM + QuickBooks Connector in beta
Send an approved quote to QuickBooks Online as an Estimate, and invoice it there when your buyer accepts.
What the connector does
- An approved quote lands in QuickBooks as an Estimate, with its lines and net prices, and the approval that cleared it cited in the note
- When your buyer accepts, an invoice is queued in QuickBooks and the payment link it replies with is shown to the buyer
- A signed contract is sent the same way; one still under negotiation is refused
- Order status and fulfilment come back; a price edited in QuickBooks is flagged with both values, never silently applied
Who runs QuickBooks
The default ledger for small businesses in North America, and the one most often already in place before anyone shops for a CRM.
How the connection works today
Intuit's REST API (OAuth 2.0) exposes Customer, Item, Estimate, and Invoice entities on QuickBooks Online, which is the same shape a Glime account, product, accepted quote, and invoice already have. QuickBooks Desktop is a different surface — the SDK and the Web Connector — so on Desktop the practical path is the CSV export.
Status: beta. Glime has a QuickBooks Online connector in the product — sign in with Intuit, references by Id, an hourly sync — and it has not yet been run against a real Intuit company. Until it has, treat it as beta, try it on a sandbox company first, and keep the workspace export as your fallback.
| Sends | approved quotes and signed contracts, landing as an Estimate |
|---|---|
| When | the Send button on an approved quote; an invoice is queued when the buyer accepts |
| Brings back | order status and fulfilment, hourly, on demand, or on the vendor's webhook where it sends one |
| Connecting | Sign in with Intuit; the token refreshes itself |
| On a conflict | the ERP wins on fulfilment, Glime wins on price |
| Run against Intuit | Not yet. Tested in CI against a recording client in Intuit's API shape, never against a real Intuit company |
