Glime CRM + Katana Connector in preview
Inventory-led ERP for companies that make and sell physical product — the buyers whose quotes most need configuring in the first place.
What the connector does
- An approved quote lands in Katana as a Sales order, with its lines and net prices, and the approval that cleared it cited in the note
- A signed contract is sent the same way; one still under negotiation is refused
- Order status and fulfilment come back; a price edited in Katana is flagged with both values, never silently applied
Who runs Katana
Manufacturers and product businesses of roughly 10 to 200 people that outgrew spreadsheets for inventory well before they would ever shortlist NetSuite.
How the connection works today
Katana exposes a modern REST API over customers, products and variants, sales orders and manufacturing orders, authenticated with an API key. The same shape holds for the inventory-led category generally — Cin7 Core and Fishbowl occupy the same slot in a stack — so a connector built here is the template for that family.
Status: preview, not offered. Glime has a Katana connector in the product, tested on every change against a simulator of Katana's API, and it is not sold or recommended for a live company file yet: QuickBooks Online is being taken live first. Today the workspace export — every object, on any plan — and the REST API carry the order across; talk to us before connecting this one.
| Sends | approved quotes and signed contracts, landing as a Sales order |
|---|---|
| When | the Send button on an approved quote |
| Brings back | order status and fulfilment, hourly, on demand, or on the vendor's webhook where it sends one |
| Connecting | an Admin pastes apiKey |
| On a conflict | the ERP wins on fulfilment, Glime wins on price |
| Run against Katana | Not yet. Tested in CI against a recording client in Katana's API shape, never against a real Katana company |
