Glime CRM + ERPNext Connector in preview
Open-source ERP you can self-host, with a REST API over every document type and no licence conversation in the way.
What the connector does
- An approved quote lands in ERPNext as a Quotation, with its lines and net prices, and the approval that cleared it cited in the note
- A signed contract is sent the same way; one still under negotiation is refused
- Order status and fulfilment come back; a price edited in ERPNext is flagged with both values, never silently applied
Who runs ERPNext
Cost-sensitive and technically confident small businesses, and a large installed base outside North America — frequently self-hosted, sometimes on Frappe Cloud, often with an implementation partner.
How the connection works today
The Frappe framework underneath ERPNext exposes a REST resource endpoint per doctype — Customer, Item, Quotation, Sales Order — authenticated with an API key and secret. Because it is open source and self-hostable, it is also the one system on this list you can stand up locally to develop and test against.
Status: preview, not offered. Glime has a ERPNext connector in the product, tested on every change against a simulator of Frappe's API, and it is not sold or recommended for a live company file yet: QuickBooks Online is being taken live first. Today the workspace export — every object, on any plan — and the REST API carry the order across; talk to us before connecting this one.
| Sends | approved quotes and signed contracts, landing as a Quotation |
|---|---|
| When | the Send button on an approved quote |
| Brings back | order status and fulfilment, hourly, on demand, or on the vendor's webhook where it sends one |
| Connecting | an Admin pastes url, apiKey, apiSecret |
| On a conflict | the ERP wins on fulfilment, Glime wins on price |
| Run against Frappe | Not yet. Tested in CI against a recording client in Frappe's API shape, never against a real Frappe company |
