Glime CRM + DocuSign No connector yet
Glime records a buyer's acceptance of a quote itself. Here is what that record holds, and when you still want DocuSign.
What a connector would carry (not built)
- Proposals and MSAs sent from Glime to DocuSign for signature
- Signature status coming back onto the contract
- The signed PDF stored against the contract record
Can Glime acceptance replace DocuSign?
For accepting a quote: often yes. For anything else: no. When a buyer accepts a quote from its share link, Glime records what a signature platform records for a click-to-accept order form:
- their explicit agreement to the quote, and their consent to do business electronically;
- a one-time code emailed to their address, which proves they control it;
- their IP address, browser and the time;
- a SHA-256 fingerprint of exactly the document they were shown. A quote that changes afterwards no longer counts as accepted;
- up to three signers on one quote, and a certificate of acceptance emailed to both sides.
What it does not do: sign a document that isn't the quote (an MSA, an NDA, a redlined contract or a PDF you upload), enforce a signing order, verify ID, notarise, or produce an EU qualified electronic signature. Glime is also not a third-party trust service. The record is held by the seller's own system, which some procurement teams won't accept. Keep DocuSign for those.
The product calls this acceptance, not a signature, until counsel has reviewed the wording. Whether a click-to-accept record is enough for your contracts is a question for your own counsel. Glime has no DocuSign connector today, so a document signed in DocuSign is attached to the contract by hand.
Status: Glime does not ship a one-click DocuSign connector today. What
exists is a structured export of your whole workspace — every object, on any plan, and still
available if your term lapses — plus the REST surface the Glime app itself runs on. That is
enough to build the sync, or to hand a partner the shape of your data. Hosted connectors and
the key-authenticated public API are roadmap, tracked in erp-integration.md;
nothing built against the export will be wasted when they land.
